Privacy Policy

Kalam1 is a venue management service operated by RTYM AI WORKS LLP. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it. If anything here is unclear, email support@kalam1.in and we will answer.

What we collect

• Your phone number — used to sign you in with a one-time password (OTP). It is how we identify your account. We do not ask for a password.
• Your name — so venue staff know who a booking belongs to.
• Booking details — the venue, court/space, date and time you booked, the amount, the payment method recorded by the venue, and whether you turned up.
• Venue business data — for venue owners: your venue, spaces, pricing rules, staff list, bookings and membership records.
• Basic technical logs — error reports and request logs used to keep the service working and to investigate faults.

Why we collect it

Only to run the service: to sign you in, to create and show your bookings, to let a venue manage its own operations, and to keep the product reliable and secure. We do not build advertising profiles.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your data is shared only with:

• The venue you booked with — they see your name, phone number and your bookings at their venue, because they are the merchant serving you.
• Our infrastructure providers — who process data on our instructions only (see “Where it is stored”).
• Authorities — only where the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database hosted by Supabase in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai, India) region. The application is served via Vercel. Payment card details are never seen or stored by us — subscription payments are handled by Razorpay, and bookings are paid to the venue directly (cash/UPI) or with membership credits.

Cookies

We use cookies strictly for session and authentication — they keep you signed in and let the venue console remember your active venue. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Booking and membership records are retained while the venue’s account is active, because they are the venue’s business records. Ledger and audit entries are append-only and are retained for accountability.

Deleting your data

Email support@kalam1.in from the address or phone number on your account and ask us to delete it. We will remove your personal data. Where a venue must keep a record of a completed transaction, we anonymise your details rather than break their books, and we will tell you when we do.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account, as above.
• SMS notifications are off unless your venue enables them; in-app notifications can be ignored without affecting your bookings.
