Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kalam1. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Kalam1.

Who we are

Kalam1 is a venue management software service (SaaS) operated by RTYM AI WORKS LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India.

What the service does

Kalam1 gives sports venues software to publish their spaces, take and manage bookings, run memberships, and see their own operational data. Venue owners subscribe to Kalam1; their customers use Kalam1 to book with that venue.

Venues are the merchants — Kalam1 is the software

This matters, so it is stated plainly: the venue is the merchant for every booking made through Kalam1. The contract for the use of a court, turf or space is between the customer and that venue.

  • Booking payments are collected by the venue directly (cash or UPI at the venue) or settled with membership credits the venue sold. RTYM AI WORKS LLP does not collect, hold or process booking money, and takes no commission on bookings.
  • The venue sets its own prices, slot availability, cancellation window and refund practice. Refunds, disputes and service quality for a booking are between the customer and the venue.
  • RTYM AI WORKS LLP is the software provider and is not a party to the booking. We are responsible for the Kalam1 service itself — that it is available, accurate and secure.

Subscription plans & billing (venue owners)

  • Kalam1 offers three plans: Starter (₹999/month), Pro (₹2,499/month) and Scale (₹4,999/month), each also available yearly at ten months’ price (two months free). All prices are exclusive of 18% GST, which is added at billing.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay as a recurring subscription that renews automatically each period until you cancel. We never see or store your card details.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of confirmation — see the Cancellation & Refund Policy for the full policy.
  • New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No charge is made until you choose a plan.
  • Cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again. We do not pro-rate refunds for part of a period.
  • If a payment fails we will tell you and retry. If it keeps failing your account becomes read-only: you and your staff can still see your bookings and schedule, and your customers can still book your venue as normal — we do not take your venue offline or punish your customers for a billing problem. You simply cannot change your setup until billing is resolved.
  • Plan limits (venues, spaces, team members, modules) apply to new creation only. If you move to a smaller plan, anything you already created keeps working — we never delete your data to enforce a limit.
  • We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes never apply to a period you have already paid.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Kalam1 for anything unlawful, or to take bookings for a venue you are not authorised to manage.
  • Upload content you do not have the rights to, or anything unlawful or misleading.
  • Attempt to break, overload or probe the service, bypass access controls, or access another venue’s or customer’s data.
  • Resell or white-label Kalam1 without a written agreement with us.
  • Use automated means to scrape the service or make bookings in bulk to deny others access.

We may suspend an account that materially breaches these terms. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Your data

Your venue’s data is yours. We process it to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask for a copy or deletion at any time.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Kalam1 available and correct, but we provide it “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, RTYM AI WORKS LLP’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for a venue’s conduct, or for losses arising from a booking itself.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify account owners. Continuing to use Kalam1 after a change means you accept the updated terms.
